Fees and Deposit
We require a 50% deposit of the total quoted fee upon you instructing us to proceed with the outlined work. We will then charge the remaining 50% when the work is complete. A general excitement about the project often means we will start designing right away, however we do reserve the right not to commence any work until the deposit has been paid in full.
Your paid deposit is only refundable if we have failed to begin the work during the agreed time period. If your decide to cancel the project prior to work commencing we will refund your deposit minus a $65 administration fee.
Content and materials
You must supply all content, information and materials required for the work to be completed. This includes copy, logos, images, branding information (colours, fonts etc) and any other materials on which the project depends.
Any delay in supplying these materials to us may lead to a delay in the timeline of the work.
If you are unable to supply materials needed for the work, we have the right to invoice you for any part or parts of the work already completed.
All content you provide us must fully belong to you, or you must obtain all necessary permissions to use the content.
We will specify an ideal timeline based on the scope of the work. All time lines are contingent on the timely provision of necessary materials – as above – and feedback. Ideally we require feedback within 48 hours and additional materials within 72 hours as possible.
If the launch date of your project is crucial please let us know this prior to or upon acceptance of the quote. We strive at all times to work to specified time lines but will not be responsible for any loss of income or incurred cost if our time lines run over.
We are happy to accept changes to the proposed design however we limit the number of author’s changes as per your quote. Further changes may lead to extra charges.
Your approval will be requested at various stages during the process. Upon the completion of the job we require your final approval in writing (via email) before we hand over the product and/or make a site live. If we don’t hear from you within seven days in response to our final approval request we will deem the project to be approved and will invoice appropriately. Even if the final invoice is sent and paid we will not put any website content live without your approval (in writing).
Our quotes include one 45 minute meeting in person. Additional meetings will be charged at an hourly rate of $80 (or part thereof) and are scheduled for 45 minutes unless longer is requested.
Once you have paid for our services in full, your product is yours for its lifetime.
While we perform best practice Search Engine Optimisation we cannot guarantee any specific position in search engine results for your website.
We will inform you in writing of any costs that are additional to our quote. These may include, but are not limited to, hosting, domain name purchase, additional plugins, photographs or artwork creation, image re-sizing or editing, or extra time due to materials or feedback being delayed.
Multi-platform and browser compatibility
We endeavour to ensure that the web sites we create are compatible with all current modern web browsers and devices. There may be small, unavoidable inconsistencies on different devices or browsers. We cannot design online products for out of date browsers.
Unless specified in your quote, website plugins providing services such as E-commerce, bookings or events calendars will incur an extra cost.
We are happy to travel to meet with you within a 10km radius from VIC 3073 for no extra charge. Additional travel will be charged at 70 cents per kilometre.
We will charge a maintenance fee of $30 per month for site builds that extend over a time period longer than 8 weeks, unless this is due to a delay on our part.
